Brainstorm to show the most advanced virtual production at InfoComm
Brainstorm, leading manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solutions, will have a significant presence at InfoComm 2023 in Orlando, Florida, showcasing the most advanced tools for virtual production, live events and XR/AR, in partnership with Unilumin (booth 1129) and Ikan (booth 4115) with FX Design. While the Unilumin booth will feature the most advanced tools for XR Virtual Production, at Ikan the company will demonstrate the flexibility of the cost-effective live events and presentation tools. Brainstorm, in its 30th Anniversary year demonstrates, once again, its decades-long expertise in virtual production and real-time graphics creation.
Brainstorm will showcase with Unilumin the latest developments introduced with Version 5.2 at NAB in Las Vegas. With an impressive XR setup consisting in a large LED wall and a LED floor, and using camera tracking provided by Ncam, this setup demonstrates how amazing XR can be for creating hyper realistic scenes for film and broadcast, also including live, in-context AR content with real-time graphics built from data coming from external sources, producing a photorealistic augmented and mixed reality content in a highly visually engaging presentation. The demonstration will also showcase advanced tools such as real-time, seamless extra-render and set extension with color-matching 3D LUTs, in-context AR motion graphics and much more. Fully compatible with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) Vanilla, InfinitySet now includes full integration of objects created in InfinitySet or Aston within the UE environment and vice-versa, including shadows, reflections, and AR with Unreal Engine, providing unmatched flexibility for content creation.
Introduced at ISE 2023, the Edison ecosystem will make its premiere at InfoComm at the Ikan booth. Built around Edison PRO, it is a complete solution that transforms any live or online presentation into an immersive experience by using AR and virtual environments. The Edison ecosystem features custom-built capture environments like EdisonGO, physical surfaces like Edison eDesk, and includes control devices (Stream Deck) or free applications like Edison OnDemand, so any user can take advantage of Edison PRO’s powerful tools. This ecosystem of tools enhances storytelling with easily created real-time 3D graphics and other visual aids, while presenters are immersed in a virtual, photorealistic environment, running the presentation with clickers or other remote devices.
In addition, Ikan and FX Design (Booth 4115) will deliver a Virtual Production demonstration on a Chroma set utilizing Brainstorm’s InfinitySet virtual studio, FX Design’s lighting & virtual set design, and Ikan’s suite of new products designed for modern broadcasting environments.
“Brainstorm is proud of showing its most advanced technology at InfoComm, collaborating with trusted partners as Unilumin and Ikan. At InfoComm we prove that our technology not only is suitable for the most advanced XR content creation setups, but also flexible and cost-effective enough to create new standards for corporate, live events and education institutions” says Ruben Ruiz, Brainstorm’s EVP of Sales, US & Canada.
